How do you take major financial decisions?
It can be buying a house or a car, starting a business, investing in stock market or in mutual funds, taking an insurance policy or anything that has a long term impact on your money.
The question is : what are the issues you consider and whom do you consult before you make a decision.
If your attitude is “Well, its my money and I do not need to consult anyone”, you’re right but it might cost you more in the long term. Ther’s no denying that its your money but it makes enormous sense to factor professional advice in your decision.
It could be in the area of capital gains, tax implications, legal issues or anything concerned that would make a difference to your fortunes.
It will be surely beneficial to consult your auditor or a legal professional before you take such momentous decisions.
